World heart day is observed on September 29th every year to raise awareness about Cardio Vascular Diseases.
It reminds us that 80 percent of premature deaths from heart diseases and stroke can be prevented by aopting a through lifestyle modifications.
Individuals should be encouraged to make simple changes like – eating a heart healthy diet, increasing physical activity, no smoking or chewing tobacco, stress management etc.
